Dr. Fatemeh Farahzad is a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario with Prescribing Authority. Before becoming a naturopathic doctor, she practiced as a Medical Doctor (MD) in Iran for over 25 years, providing comprehensive family medicine in hospital, community, and private practice settings. Dr. Farahzad is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-informed, and patient-centered care. She has a special interest in women's health, including PMS, PMDD, PCOS, perimenopause, and menopause; thyroid disorders; digestive health, including IBS, GERD, bloating, dysbiosis, and Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection; diabetes, hypertension, weight management, metabolic health, chronic pain, fatigue, stress, sleep concerns, and preventive healthcare. Her treatment approach integrates clinical nutrition, lifestyle medicine, botanical medicine, acupuncture, electroacupuncture, cupping therapy, laboratory test requisition and interpretation, therapeutic prescribing, and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Dr. Farahzad earned her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) after completing her Doctor of Medicine degree in Iran. She is passionate about helping patients improve their health through collaborative, personalized, and evidence-informed care.
