Registered Physiotherapist, MScPT, BSc (Hons). Piera graduated from Queen’s University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology-Physiology at McMaster University. During her time at Queen’s, Piera worked with individuals across the lifespan, with placements in paediatrics, geriatrics, and everything in between! She also completed an Introduction to Spinal Manipulation course to widen her skillset. Piera’s physiotherapy approach includes manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture/dry needling, and client education. Piera trained for 10 years as a competitive artistic gymnast. She navigated multiple injuries during this time, but her positive experiences with physiotherapy motivated her to pursue a career where she could help support others throughout the rehabilitation process. Outside of the clinic, Piera loves to keep active in the gym, go for runs, travel, and spend time with her friends and family!
