Amy Schroeder was inspired to be a massage therapist while serving in the Air Force Reserves. There's quite a bit of waiting time in the military and during those time she found herself helping out fellow airmen with massages. She then went on to learn the trade professionally and founded Massage on the Square in 2002. With a strong sense of being a forever student she leads her team in the same manner. Amy says, "Lots of massage therapist can give a great massage but if you really want to excel you've got to know your anatomy and kinesiology well and know why your doing what your doing." In her spare time she enjoys random crafts, the mountains, and playing the harp.
Each massage is customized to your needs. There are countless massage techniques and styles and we don't make you choose one over the other. All of our massage therapist offer neuromuscular therapy, pregnancy massage, and are capable of providing massage for relaxation, stress and pain management, as well as sports massage. We also had a spa element to each session with aromatherapy, warm neck wraps and eye pillows, and hot towels.
