I’m Deborah (Deb), a certified Massage Therapist and Ayurvedic Wellness Coach with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. My professional journey began behind the scenes in healthcare administration, where I focused on policy, procedures, and quality of care. While I valued that work, I couldn't ignore what I felt was missing—a more personalized, integrative approach that cared for the whole person, not just the diagnosis/symptoms. That realization led me to massage therapy and eventually to Ayurveda, where I found a beautiful balance between modern science and ancient wisdom. I remain committed to lifelong learning because the more I grow, the better I can serve those who trust me with their wellness journey. One thing that's important to me is how I view my role. I don't believe I "heal" people. Rather, I help create an environment where the body can do what it was designed to do—restore, rebalance, and heal itself. Through therapeutic touch, Ayurvedic principles, and compassionate care, my goal is to support each client's path toward greater well-being. I also believe that if we want holistic and integrative healthcare to continue earning its place alongside conventional medicine, we must uphold the highest standards of professionalism, education, and evidence-informed practice. Don't get me wrong—I absolutely love the "woo-woo" side of wellness. But I also deeply respect science and believe the most powerful approach is one that honors both. When ancient wisdom and modern research work together, everyone benefits.
