Evan graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1994 whereupon he moved to White Rock to open a massage therapy clinic. After 3 years of successfully operating it he moved his clinic to his house and ran a home based clinic with 4 other RMTs for 22 years. Over the course of years he has trained in many massage modalities but specializes in visceral manipulation through the Barral Institute out of Florida, completing levels VM 1-6 as well teaching assisting for levels 1-4. Visceral manipulation is a very gentle technique that mobilizes the organs which may have a fascial pull or restriction to release the connecting tissue that may be presenting as a pathology elsewhere in the body. It also helps to beak up any scar tissue from surgeries or traumas. Most any physical disfunction can be aided by the use of this technique. Having just moved to the Kootenays Evan enjoys hiking, snowshoeing teaching meditation classes and listening to his extensive vinyl record collection. If you think you may benefit or are curious as to whether you may benefit call the clinic to set up a consultation.
