Hi, I’m Vineet! I’m a pediatric physiotherapist with a passion for helping children and families thrive. My journey in physiotherapy began in India, where I worked in both hospital and community settings. In 2016, I moved to Edmonton to complete my Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Alberta—and I’ve been proud to call this city home ever since. I’ve had the privilege of supporting children and families through my work in non-profit organizations and the public health system. I take a family-centred approach to care, working closely with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized, evidence-based plans that help each child reach their full potential. I work with infants, toddlers, and children with a wide range of developmental, orthopedic, congenital, and genetic conditions. Some of the areas I specialise in include Torticollis, Autism Spectrum Disorder. (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays, Rare genetic syndromes such as Fragile X, Angelman Syndrome, Arthrogryposis, and Down Syndrome. I also enjoy supporting neurodivergent adults and believe in building strong, collaborative relationships with every client and their family. In addition to my clinical work, I’m passionate about mentoring students and new physiotherapists. I find it incredibly rewarding to support the next generation of therapists as they build their confidence and skills. When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring hiking trails with my wife or spending time in nature with friends.
This initial assessment is designed to understand your child’s movement, strength, coordination, and functional skills in a supportive and child-centred environment. Our pediatric physiotherapists take time to get to know your child and your family, using play-based and developmentally appropriate activities to assess gross motor skills, posture, balance, mobility, and overall physical development. We focus on your child’s strengths while identifying areas where support may be helpful. Following the assessment, you will receive clear feedback, practical recommendations, and a collaborative plan that supports your child’s goals at home, school, and in daily life.
