I have a profound interest in Active Rehabilitation techniques and diverse approaches to pain management. During my time volunteering at the NCAA clinic and working with the Surrey Knights, I gained firsthand experience in the fitness industry. These roles underscored the importance of teamwork and thriving in fast-paced environments. With four years in the service industry, I honed my communication and multitasking abilities, skills vital to delivering exceptional service. In addition to my professional experience, I have taken on leadership responsibilities, mentoring new employees due to my seniority and extensive background. At SFU’s Student Athletic Trainer Program, I engaged in team sports and assumed leadership roles, further developing my organizational and teamwork skills. Outside of academics, I volunteer as a team trainer for the PJHL Hockey team, collaborating closely with coaches on administrative tasks and providing pre-game and post-game support to players. These experiences have enriched my understanding of sports medicine and reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career in Physiotherapy.
