Julie graduated from the University of Montréal in 2011 with a combined Bachelor-Master degree in Physiotherapy. She has since gone on to pursue her postgraduate studies in orthopaedic manual therapy specializing in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. She completed her training in functional dry needling (IMS) in 2018 and also developed her skills in treating athletes of all levels having worked with several different collegiate level sports teams. Her personalized treatment approach focuses on understanding the cause of the problem for long term healing and to help the patient to reach their goals. Manual therapy, functional dry needling, exercise prescription, taping and education are all a part of her treatment approach. In her free time, Julie enjoys outdoor activities which include backcountry skiing, ice and rock climbing.
If this is your first visit, if you have a new injury, or if your last visit was more than 6 months ago. This 60 minute appointment will include an assessment of the injury or area of concern, as well as treatment to the area. You will also be provided with education on the condition, advice for self-management between appointments, and a home exercise program if appropriate.
