Sultana Frizell OLY/ Massage therapist/ MTANS #24019 Sultana is a Registered Massage Therapist and former national team athlete. She retired in 2018 after a long history in Athletics, she represented Canada at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics in the Hammer Throw. After her retirement, she has been dedicated to honing her skill set in therapeutic massage to help clients achieve their bodies potential. Sultana went to the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (2200hrs Toronto Campus) where she split her clinic rotations between physical rehab hospitals and sports massage. Sultana is experienced in giving a clinical approach to treatment – her background in high performance has been essential to assist clients with their goals and prioritizing approaches to be able to provide a holistic treatment. Sultana is coming to Halifax after working at a busy multidisciplinary clinic in Ontario that specialized in post-operative care, neuro, and soft tissue dysfunction. Certifications: CSMAT – Advanced Sport Massage Myo Matrix release – Upper and Lower Body Certification ATSI Structural Integration – Certified 3 Series Neurovascular Release Certified Part 1 and 2 When not in the treatment room, you can find Sultana at Scandinavian spas. Recovery has been the cornerstone to her athletic career so finding a reset through the week is a critical part of her wellbeing. Also petting kittens are great too! :-)
