Welcome! I’m Eileen, the acupuncturist and owner of Within Acupuncture in Doylestown, PA (Bucks County). I take a holistic approach to health – recognizing that physical, mental, and emotional well-being are interconnected. My focus is placed on identifying and treating the root causes of imbalance, rather than managing symptoms. I’m passionate about treating the manifestations of stress and trauma and providing clients with a naturalistic, neurobiological, body-oriented option to resolve shock, and other stress-related disorders that accumulate in the body and nervous system. Though this is my particular interest, I respect where you choose to be in your health journey, not where I believe you should be. My treatment approach is through a trauma-informed lens and I offer a judgement-free space where safety is of utmost importance. I am open to treating individuals of any background and age group. My clients have included: children, teenagers, adults, and senior citizens. I may not relate to your experiences, but I am willing to listen and hold space for you. I have supported clients who experience: acute and chronic physical pain, muscle tension, athletic or sports injuries, migraines, headaches, allergies, anxiety, depression, sleep issues, PMS, PCOS, infertility or difficulty conceiving (with and without the use of assisted reproductive technologies), menstrual cycle irregularities, pregnancy discomfort, menopausal symptoms, cancer trreatment side-effects, as well as overwhelming stress, and mental & emotional despair during difficult life experiences. -Eileen Espiritu, L.Ac.
