Human bodies go through the constant process of wear, tear and repair. Dipeshri (Dee) loves the quote that “In rehabilitation there is no elevator. You have to take every step, meaning one step at a time.” by Joerg Teichmann. As a Physical Therapist, her role is to assist and guide her patients in taking these small tiny steps that will accelerate the process of repair and recovery for them. Dee’s treatment philosophy is based in treating the root causes of any aches, pains and injuries to prevent reoccurrence of such concerns. Her goal is to deliver quality, client-centered service to her patients. Dee completed her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with distinction from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in India and Master’s in Physical therapy from Coventry University in the U.K. In her practice for more than a decade, she has provided treatment to patients with musculoskeletal, neuro-musculoskeletal, neurological and sports injury related conditions. Dee passed her written and clinical exam to practice in Canada and has been working as a Physical Therapist in Regina since 2016. She has worked at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, Regina General Hospital and in private practice too. She has multiple certifications, to name a few, are Brian Mulligan Mobilization with Movement Introductory Course, Basic Course Kinesiology Taping, Contemporary Model of NDT (NDT/Bobath) for Individuals post Stroke for Brain Injury and Neural Tissue Mobilization & Fitness Training Course. Her ability to develop instant connections with her patients and to advocate for patient’s wellbeing have given optimal treatment results to her patients. In her free time, she loves to take her kids for a nature walk and admires how curious they are, about all the little things in this world!
