Christopher Banyay

Hi! I have called Prince George home since 2002 - I became a Red Seal endorsed Journeyman Machinist when I was 22 and worked in industry locally for 12 years. During my 20's, I began traveling the world, studying yoga and energy work when I realized that I wanted to change my vocation and work with people directly. In 2018 I received my diploma from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy, graduating with awards for outstanding achievement in professionalism, academic and practical performance. I then returned to Prince George knowing the North was in need of passionate therapists. I look at the body as a whole, a mosaic of systems and layers - a vision derived from my professional training combining with my yoga and machinist backgrounds. To assist your body in healing and help bring it into a state of ease I use techniques including myofascial mobilization, neuromuscular and muscle energy as well as some traditional Swedish massage. I also study with Heather Gittens and Natale Rao who utilize osteopathic, visceral and craniosacral therapy, adapting their ideology and techniques into my treatments.
