Drew graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2019 and is thrilled to be joining the team at KinCoast. He is currently welcoming both new and returning patients. Originally from Fort McMurray, Alberta, Drew moved to Whistler, BC in 2011, drawn by his passion for snowboarding and the outdoors. After sustaining several snowboarding-related injuries, Drew developed a strong interest in rehabilitation and recovery. This passion eventually led him to pursue the 3000-hour full-time RMT program at VCMT, where he could combine his hands-on skills with a deeper understanding of human movement and healing. During his clinical internship, Drew worked in a range of outreach settings across Vancouver, including with the St. George’s athletic teams, CrossFit facilities, Ronald McDonald House, and various pre- and post-marathon events. He has experience treating a broad spectrum of conditions, including (but not limited to) nerve compression injuries, repetitive strain injuries, sprains, whiplash-associated disorders (WAD), adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder), migraines, and sports-related injuries. Drew uses a combination of myofascial release, joint mobilizations, and active stretching to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Drew and his family currently reside in Burke Mountain, Coquitlam. Outside the clinic, Drew enjoys hockey, golfing, snowboarding, and his greatest passion—mountain biking.
