Tarryn completed her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia through the Northern Cohort in Prince George. Originally from Campbell River, she previously worked locally as a Kinesiologist before returning to school for physiotherapy. Outside the clinic, Tarryn enjoys staying active and you’ll often find her teaching spin classes, attending pilates and strength classes, golfing, skiing, or walking with her dog. During her time in Northern BC she loved exploring the outdoors, with highlights including skiing at Powder King Resort, teaching adaptive ski lessons, and weekly trail runs with her physiotherapy classmates. Tarryn’s clinical interests include orthopedic and sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and neurological conditions such as spinal cord injuries and Parkinsons disease. She also completed 12-weeks in pediatric placements and enjoys working with children and young athletes. Before becoming a physiotherapist, Tarryn spent several years providing exercise therapy for individuals recovering from motor vehicle and workplace injuries, delivering both land-based and aquatic rehabilitation programs. Tarryn was trained as a STOTT Pilates Matwork instructor and has 5 years of teaching experience in private and group settings. She has completed AIM Level 1 Orthopedic Certification and continues to pursue ongoing education. Her treatment approach combines education, exercise therapy, and hands-on manual treatment to help patients understand their injuries and build strength for long-term recovery. She is passionate about providing evidence-based care and supporting people through every stage of rehabilitation, helping you return to the activities that matter most and feel strong in your body.
