Jenn Flaman

Originally from friendly Manitoba, Jenn has lived in the Beautiful Okanagan since graduating from the University of Toronto in 2007 with her Master of Science in Physical Therapy. While in Toronto, she participated in a variety of sports leagues and was the treasurer for the Physical Therapy Graduate Student’s Association. Before Toronto, Jenn spent four years at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. At St. FX, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics, while playing four seasons of varsity volleyball with the X-Women Volleyball team. A middle blocker, she also served as the team’s captain during her final two seasons. Jenn has continued to play volleyball in Kelowna as often as she can, including women’s league, co-ed, grass volleyball and beach. She also enjoys downhill skiing and hiking, and cheering on her kids in their sports & activities. Jenn is certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, and is certified in AN-IMS dry needling. Jenn sat on the Inquiry Committee with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (now called the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC) for 15 years, and has mentored numerous physical therapy and rehabilitation assistant students over her career. She has worked with the BCHL West Kelowna Warriors and Okanagan Sun teams, as well as volunteered with many sports teams in the Okanagan.
