Listening is the most important skill I have learned as a massage therapist – listening with my ears, heart, and hands. My focus is on Swedish massage which, among other techniques, uses gliding strokes and light to moderate pressure. While beneficial to anyone, it is an excellent approach for the elderly and people in frail condition. I also use gentle techniques to address fascial pain and muscle tightness. I attended Lane Community College for my massage therapy training, graduating in 2013. My family and I moved to Oregon in 2000 from the great plains state of South Dakota. Right away, Oregon felt like home! The McKenzie River is my favorite place to camp, hike, raft, and relax. I have three adult children who are making their mark out in the world.
