Lauren Ren Tysinger (LMBT #14715) (they/them) is a dedicated licensed massage therapist with ten years of diverse experience in the industry, from franchises to private practices and spa administration. Ren began their journey into bodywork at Naropa University, the only accredited Buddhist college in America, where they earned a degree in Traditional Eastern Arts with a focus on Tai Chi, initially planning to pursue acupuncture. However, their path took a beautiful turn when they discovered a passion for massage therapy at the Body Therapy Institute. Ren specializes in creating a warm and welcoming space for clients who may find touch challenging, offering intentional and compassionate bodywork. Their extensive range of modalitiesincluding ashiatsu, lymphatic drainage, TMJ intra-oral, reflexology, sound therapy, and myofascial workallows them to tailor each session to meet the unique needs of every client. While they often employ deep tissue techniques to release deep-seated muscular and emotional patterns, Ren also embraces the healing power of relaxation, trusting in the bodys natural ability to heal. In a previous life, Ren worked in programming and development, complemented by a background in dance and gymnastics. Today, they balance their time between the IT industrywhere they troubleshoot circuit boards and support office workersand the fulfilling world of massage therapy. Outside of work, Ren enjoys studying for various IT certifications and training their lively pet parrot.
