Dr. Laurel Erath

Dr. Erath completed her Bachelor’s in General Biology from Stony Brook University in New York. While in college her own health journey led her to explore how nutrition influences health, and her experience working for a local naturopath deepened her knowledge and passion for wellness. Due to an increasing interest in a holistic healthcare approach, she enrolled in a graduate program at Sonoran University of Health Sciences (previously Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine), obtaining her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2016. A residency program in Vermont brought her back towards her east coast home. She has spent the last nine years serving as a primary care naturopathic doctor in multiple counties in Vermont, currently maintaining a practice at Rutland Naturopathic Clinic. Dr. Erath is excited to bring her experience to Fernwood Holistic Health. Her care is rooted in naturopathic principles and brings awareness to the synergy of mental and physical health. She believes that by restoring the foundations of health, little by little the body is guided back into an environment where it can heal itself. Her individualized treatment plans include nutrition counseling, lifestyle counseling, homeopathy, nutritional supplements, botanical tinctures, and craniosacral therapy. She is grateful to be a part of each individual’s healing process, guiding patients through as many steps as needed to identify and treat the root cause of health concerns.
