Nozomi is a registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner who has been practicing since 2020. After taking several courses of continuing education, she has developed an intuitive, patient-focused treatment style. Before applying needles, she usually starts with some bodywork, such as Tui na massage, cupping, or gua sha. As she does bodywork, she searches the problematic areas/channels and decides where to needle. As a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, she is able to diagnose and prescribe herbal medicine to patients for various issues such as digestion, hormonal imbalance and musculoskeletal pain. While growing up in Japan, Nozomi learned from an early age the importance of maintaining optimal health and preventing disease. This knowledge has become a fundamental part of her lifestyle and practice. By giving self-care advice to patients, her goal is to encourage patients to prevent pain/imbalance in the body. Nozomi believes that the body has innate healing power, and with acupuncture, herbs, and other Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities, her passion is helping patients restore balance to their bodies.
