Dr. Julie Abraczinskas earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida, where she was honored with the Clinical Excellence Award. Prior to receiving her Chiropractic Degree, she received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Physiology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. During her time at Palmer, she developed a strong focus on soft tissue modalities and passive rehabilitation, even serving as an officer of the Passive Rehab Club. With a passion for sports and pediatrics, Dr. Abraczinskas brings a unique perspective to her practice. Her personal background in athletics, particularly in Field Hockey and Track and Field (with a focus on Javelin and Shotput), drives her commitment to helping patients achieve optimal movement and function. Her journey into chiropractic was sparked after an injury to her right shoulder led her through multiple rounds of physical therapy until she found a chiropractor who helped restore mobility and movement. Dr. Abraczinskas emphasizes the importance of maintaining proper biomechanics and training while practicing what she preaches. Regular chiropractic care, combined with strength training, is a cornerstone of her lifestyle. Outside of the office, she enjoys attending baseball and football games (though as a Pennsylvania native, cheering for Boston teams can be a bit challenging!), spending time with friends and family, enjoying the outdoors with her pup, Lilo, or spending time in the gym, perfecting her strength training routine. When she’s not at a sporting event, working out, or with her friends and family, you can find her at a local coffee shop, soaking in the atmosphere. As a transplant to the area - Dr. Julie is looking forward to connecting with the patients, providing individualized care specific to each individual, and exploring the city and the history of Boston (any and all recommendations are welcome)!
