Michael Borrow, RMT. Registered Massage Therapist. Michael attended The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and graduated with honours in May 2018. He received the Sports Outreach Specialization Award, Hospital Placement Specialization, and took part in the Trimesters: Massage for Pregnancy Course. Michael holds a certification as a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms), where movement and increasing joint capacity are key fundamentals in his treatment style. He has a strong interest in restoring natural foot function and helping others to understand the importance of strengthening their feet to create a stable base of support. He is a functional footwear advocate, who is helping to make a change in the way feet are commonly viewed and the misconception behind common foot pain. His background in competitive sport allows him to understand and treat common injuries found in the athletic community. During the 2018-19 hockey season, Michael was the Head Trainer for the Vaughn Kings Midget “AAA” team of the Greater Toronto Hockey League. He has also worked with amateur, professional and Olympic level athletes participating in sports such as: lacrosse, volleyball, golf, tennis, CrossFit, powerlifting, running, swimming, cycling and martial arts.
