Alyssa graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2019 and earned her Diploma of Massage Therapy from the Ontario College of Health and Technology in 2020. With experience working alongside physiotherapists and sports teams she has gained a unique set of skills. Alyssa tailors each treatment to meet the unique needs of her clients. Her treatments include of mix of deep tissue massage, myofascial release and trigger point-therapy techniques alongside cupping and scraping modalities. Alyssa has also completed additional training in assessing and treating TMJ (temporomandibular joint) dysfunction and offers focused treatments to help manage jaw pain and related symptoms. As a former varsity track athlete, she values an active lifestyle and is passionate about helping others return to the activities they enjoy.
A 60-minute RMT (Registered Massage Therapist) massage typically focuses on therapeutic techniques aimed at reducing muscle tension, relieving pain, and promoting relaxation. Treatment will include hands on therapy with targeted focus on one complaint area while still focusing on full body, and may include assessment and therapeutic exercise recommendations.
