Dr. Ulrichsen studied Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto following a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Victoria. Heather believes chiropractic care can improve body movement to help you enjoy your activities without pain or limitation. Whether you are dealing with repetitive strain or acute injuries, Heather offers advanced care by creating customized treatment plans to relieve mechanical stress, treat/prevent injury, and optimize your health. She leverages the combination of a variety of techniques in practice, including Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Active Release Techniques (A.R.T), Graston Technique, shockwave therapy, Kinesiotape, joint manipulation, and rehabilitative exercise. Your treatment plan will be tailored to emphasize your personal goals including pain relief, improved function, or optimized performance. Outside of the clinic Heather enjoys teaching yoga, running, hiking, and being a mom to her two amazing children.

You and your chiropractor will go over your personal health history, history of your complaint(s) as well as performing a thorough and detailed physical exam that includes postural analysis, orthopedic testing, and assessment of your joints and muscles to arrive at a working diagnosis. In the same visit you will then receive a full chiropractic treatment consisting of an adjustment and any other therapies that are clinically indicated.
