My journey into chiropractic began with a personal struggle — years of debilitating migraines and countless failed treatments. After starting chiropractic care, through adjustments, soft tissue work, and targeted exercises, I slowly regained my quality of life. Within a few visits, my migraines went from several a week to about once a month, and now I only experience a few each year. As someone who is also hypermobile, I’ve seen firsthand how connective tissue differences can impact daily life and overall well-being. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career focused on helping others get to the root cause of their pain and dysfunction, rather than simply treating symptoms. This led me to develop a special interest in working with patients who have hypermobility and other connective tissue disorders. I’m passionate about helping people with similar experiences navigate their unique challenges in health care and in life. I was born and raised in Saskatoon and attended the University of Saskatchewan, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I then completed my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis. In my free time, you’ll find me at the cabin, embroidering, sewing, or spending time with my dog, Taco. I also love being with friends and take pride in being the “fun auntie” to my nieces and nephews. I firmly believe our bodies keep score — that emotional, psychological, and traumatic stresses can profoundly affect not only our mental well-being but also our physical health. I also believe the best healthcare outcomes come from collaboration, not isolation. Healing is most powerful when it’s supported by a team of providers working together across multiple disciplines.
