#210 - 2233 Burrard St, Vancouver, BC, V6J 3H9

Rune is a certified Peter Hess Sound Massage Practitioner and a member of the International Association of Sound Massage Therapy, with training in Usui Reiki and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy. Her work focuses on nervous system regulation, emotional release, and supporting self-healing through deep relaxation. Her practice is deeply rooted in Buddhist contemplative traditions, shaped by living and training across three continents - meditation, yoga, and mindful movement form the foundation of her experience-based, science-informed approach to whole-being care. Rune discovered the healing potential of sound and energy work through her own recovery from a neurological disorder and burnout from high-stress environments. She now offers personalized sound massage and energy healing sessions that attune to each individual’s nervous system and energetic flow, supporting stress reduction, improved sleep, and body–mind–spirit balance. With an intuitive and accessible facilitation style, Rune holds space with presence, care, and respect for each individual’s lived experience. Her mission is to bridge ancient vibrational-healing wisdom with modern self-compassion, helping individuals and communities reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity, and inner harmony. Rune is available in Dr. Julie’s clinic every second Thursday of the month. Peter Hess Sound Massage Therapy with Rune
Relaxation

Sound massage therapy is a form of singing bowl–based sound meditation rooted in ancient Tibetan and Buddhist healing traditions. This practice supports relaxation and well-being through gentle shifts in brainwave activity, binaural rhythms, and the vibrational resonance of therapeutic singing bowls interacting with the body’s biofield. Emerging research referenced by ScienceDirect, a leading scientific and healing research journal, suggests that this practice helps support nervous system regulation, reduce negative emotional states, and promote healthy blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory function.
