Ivory has a strong interest in helping people regain independence and confidence in their movement. She is originally from the Philippines and finished her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2010 before moving to Canada in 2016. Since then, she worked as a Rehab Assistant in a nursing home and private clinic supporting healthcare professionals with assessments, care planning, and interventions while also working in becoming a Canadian Physiotherapist. She has had the opportunity to work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries in the hospital and private settings as well as those living with neurological conditions. She really value building meaningful connections with patients throughout their recovery. She is currently pursuing continuing education to further strengthen clinical reasoning and expand approach to rehabilitation through the Canadian Orthopaedic Division. Outside work, Ivory enjoys volunteering with a church group that supports the elderly in nursing homes. She is also a devoted wife and mother of two sons, with a love for music and dance as forms of relaxation and exercise.

The Physiotherapy Assessment involves a 1-hour one-on-one history and biomechanical evaluation with a Physiotherapist on our Rehab1 Team. This allows us the time to a develop a clear picture of your current condition and help us provide you with the proper physiotherapy treatment plan.
