Growing up in the Kemptville area Eilish was always involved and interested in farming and agriculture. Being an equestrian all her life, Eilish had an interest in the relationship between a horse’s performance and their body mechanics. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Animal Science, from Dalhousie University in 2018. Following this, Eilish worked at a therapeutic riding facility and observed the benefit of motion from riding, not just physically, but also mentally for the riders. With these experiences Eilish wanted to learn more about how the body functions as a unit as well as the benefit of motion on all systems of the body and she went on to graduate with a Master of Osteopathic Manipulative Science (MOMSC) from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. Following the principles of Osteopathic Manual Therapy, Eilish observes and considers the relationship between the structure and function of the body and works with individuals to improve range of motion, which benefits all systems of the body. In her spare time, Eilish enjoys spending time with her horse and taking pictures of her chickens.
