KYLE ETHIER As of April 2019, I completed the 2318-hour intensive massage therapy program with the International Academy of Massage and successfully completed the required licensing exams with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. For 5 years prior to completing my education I have been a personal trainer working in Orleans. I have worked with a variety of clients from young athletes to seniors looking to improve their quality of life. Throughout my education my experience as personal trainer was a great help with assessment of conditions as well as creating remedial exercise programs for clients to assist them with their rehabilitation. In my treatments I use a variety of techniques including: · Swedish massage · Trigger point release · Myofascial release · Joint mobilizations · PNF stretching My goal as a Massage Therapist is to gain an understanding of your specific condition and treat it appropriately to restore function, improve mobility and decrease stress or pain. Outside of work I live an active lifestyle, training for powerlifting, enjoying my time outdoors or expanding my knowledge of all thing’s health/fitness related.
