Marina has been practicing massage therapy for 18 years and has an extensive experience in treating many varieties of health related issues such as soft tissue injuries, postural imbalance, systemic conditions and more. With her background in psychology Marina’s approach is based on the concept of body and mind connection; the importance of not just physical but also the mental aspects in health overall and it’s impact in the process of healing. Also being a competitive athlete (gymnastics) in the past , she understands mechanism of injuries and the impact of them later in life. Using a variety of therapeutic techniques Marina likes to educate her patients helping them to be active participants in their own healing process. Some of Marina’s techniques include Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Release, Craniosacral and Visceral Therapy. IMPORTANT message from the therapist: ***Please be advised that the perception of pressure of the massage is subjective to each individual, as what is a deep pressure massage for one may not be the same for another. However, that being said I do not give what would generally be considered deep massages for most. If you prefer deep pressure massages that are painful you may benefit more from one of our other RMTs. Marina is mainly available on Wednesdays and Fridays but also throughout the week including weekends, ** if you don’t see any availabilities please put yourself on waiting list (for the whole week) and she will contact you with the openings
