Holli Schimus PT, HBSc. Kin, FCAMPT Holli graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2003, following the completion of an Honours Kinesiology degree at UWO. She has a keen interest in orthopedics and sports medicine. In 2014, Holli completed all exams and requirements and is now a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). This is a huge undertaking and requires extensive post-graduate education in the area of orthopaedics and advanced manual therapy techniques. Holli has also taken other post graduate courses including acupuncture. Holli enjoyed competitive sports through high school including dance, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. While at Western, Holli played varsity basketball for five years. She was co-captain, named to the OUA All-star team and, in 1997, won the bronze medal at the CIS championships. Holli now enjoys running, biking and swimming. Holli has participated in various running events and triathlons including the Chicago marathon, Marine Corps marathon and the NYC marathon. Holli still has a passion for basketball and has coached with the KW Lightning, KW Vipers, KWYBL in the past. In summer 2015, Holli volunteered as a physiotherapist for PAN AM Games, serving as therapist for basketball in Toronto.
