Chris is a graduate of the Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago (2013), where he began his massage therapy career working in small boutiques, spas, yoga studios, corporate franchises, and private practice. His path later led him to the Peruvian Amazon, where he spent months immersed in Shipibo plant medicine traditions before continuing his practice in San Francisco and Oakland, including working with sensory deprivation tanks. He studied Thai Massage at the Sunshine School in Chiang Mai, Thailand, was exposed to Ayurvedic modalities while traveling in India, and served as a massage therapy instructor at the National Holistic Institute in Los Angeles, and later in Portland. In Oregon, he continued his massage practice, managed a spa, and completed some training in Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute before joining the Buddha’s Medicine. Grounded in a Swedish foundation, Chris integrates deep tissue, trigger point, Thai, Shiatsu, PNF stretching, myofascial techniques, and Reiki into his sessions. He is currently continuing his growth in Ayurvedic modalities and Craniosacral Therapy.
