Dr. Ahni Ruzsa’s passion for health, movement, and helping others feel their best has been a driving force throughout her life. A proud Minnesota native and former collegiate track athlete, she began her academic journey at the University of Sioux Falls before earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Grand Canyon University. It was there that her calling to become a chiropractor became clear, blending science, movement, and compassionate care to empower people to take ownership of their health. She returned home to complete her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2025, later moving to Raleigh to complete her clinical training and broaden her experience serving individuals and families from all walks of life. During her time at Northwestern, Dr. Ahni was actively involved in organizations such as the Motion Palpation Institute and Rehab 2 Performance, where she discovered her passion for rehabilitation focused, movement based care. She spent many weekends traveling across the country to attend seminars and advanced trainings, continually refining her skills and learning from leaders in the profession. Her advanced training includes Motion Palpation Institute (MPI), Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR), Dry Needling, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), and Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT/McKenzie), among others. Dr. Ahni is passionate about providing family centered, wellness focused care for patients in every stage of life, from newborns navigating developmental milestones, young athletes, and busy parents, to growing families and active older adults. She has a special interest in women’s health and enjoys supporting women through the unique physical changes that occur throughout adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. She believes true health is built through education, movement, and consistency, and she partners closely with her patients to create individualized plans that support both immediate relief and long term vitality. Above all, Dr. Ahni strives to create a welcoming, encouraging environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered because better movement leads to a better quality of life.
