Body In Tune Guelph

With a lifelong background in gymnastics and aerial silks, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the body, movement, and the importance of injury prevention. Combined with my degree in Kinesiology , I bring both a strong scientific foundation and an intuitive awareness of how the body moves, compensates, and heals. I am certified in NeuroFascial Reset (RAPID) , a hands-on therapeutic technique designed to calm an overactive nervous system, and relieve pain at its source. After injury, stress, or trauma, the brain can keep muscles locked in protective “guarding” patterns, leading to chronic pain, tension, and restricted movement. RAPID uses targeted pressure combined with movement to help reset these patterns and restore healthy communication between the brain and body. By addressing dysfunctional neurological signaling, RAPID can quickly reduce pain and tension, improve mobility, restore natural movement, and support faster recovery. This treatment is highly effective for athletes, active individuals, and anyone looking to move with greater ease and feel more connected to their body. My work is deeply rooted in the mind-body connection, with the understanding that true healing happens when both are addressed together. I’m passionate about continued learning, staying well-read, and creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and guided back to pain-free movement and greater overall well-being.
Neurofascial Reset (RAPID) alleviates pain by interacting with the nervous system to release muscle and fascia tension. When injured or stressed, the body tightens muscles and stiffens fascia as a protective response, often causing chronic pain. RAPID addresses this by applying pressure to affected areas while clients move specific joints, sending new signals to the nervous system. This overrides the tightness response, "resets " the nervous system, and changes how the body interprets pain. This leads to muscle relaxation, reduced tension, and long lasting pain relief. The fascia becomes more pliable, improving flexibility and movement. Clients often experience immediate pain relief and enhanced range of motion after a single session, promoting faster healing.
