Hi my name is Sarah Stokes, a Massage therapist for over 13 years in Green Valley, AZ. I started my career in Colorado after graduating from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado. I attended the intensive massage program at MTIC several years into my career to add to my tool box of techniques and knowledge. I am thorough and thoughtful in my bodywork session: tailoring each session to meet my clients goals. I am proficient at Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Ashiatsu, Hot Stone, and Cupping I am currently working on my Personal Trainer Certificate to teach regenerative movement training to my clients.
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
