Mavio is a graduate from **Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT).** As a lifelong athlete who has dealt with many of his own injuries, Mavio developed a strong interest in the human body’s mechanisms surrounding injury prevention and rehabilitation. This interest led him to pursue a career in massage therapy where he is committed to providing personalized treatment and education so that you can work towards achieving your individual goals and return to a healthier and more comfortable life. Mavio is an adaptable therapist and has experience working in a variety of different areas including athletic injuries, chronic pain conditions, stress relief, geriatric massage, and postural dysfunctions. His treatments use a combination of Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular and trigger point therapy. In his spare time, Mavio enjoys soccer, hiking, kayaking, and camping.
