Remy is a physio-/manual therapist who is originally from the Netherlands, where he finished his physiotherapy Bachelor degree in 2006 and Manual therapy Master degree in 2012. After working in the Netherlands for +10 years, he moved to California and since August 2023 he lives on Vancouver Island. Remy specializes in musculoskeletal injuries, ranging from spine related problems to knee- and hip pain. On top of this, he has a special interest in vestibular problems like vertigo, dizziness and difficulties with balance. He likes to use a patient focused, one-on-one approach, consisting of a combination of hands-on manual therapy treatment, education regarding injury and active rehab, based on the patient’s presentation and personal goals. Outside of the clinic, Remy likes to engage in outdoor activities like hiking, camping, running and cycling and therefore finds Vancouver Island a great place to be.
For returning patients who are experiencing a new injury unrelated to previous treatment by one of our physiotherapists. New patients to our clinic, please choose Physio Initial Visit.
