Dr. Novia has always been passionate about helping others, envisioning a career dedicated to improving people’s lives. While earning her Bachelor of Life Sciences at Queen’s University, she initially considered becoming a counselor or medical doctor. However, after volunteering at a local hospital and working closely with patients, she realized that optimal health requires a holistic approach—balancing both the body and mind. She also recognized the importance of spending quality time with patients to address the root cause of their symptoms and tailor treatments to each individual. Inspired by this realization, Dr. Novia pursued a career in Naturopathic Medicine. After earning her Naturopathic Doctor designation from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Boucher Campus), she expanded her expertise by completing the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program at PCU College of Holistic Medicine. She also obtained certification in laser acupuncture, accredited by the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners of Greater Vancouver. Dr. Novia looks forward to meeting you, sharing your health journey, and using her knowledge and experience to support your wellness goals.
