Anthony Iacoe is a registered physiotherapist born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, with a strong background in sport and athletic performance. Prior to completing his Master of Physical Therapy at Western University, Anthony competed as a member of the men’s varsity basketball teams at both Carleton University and Laurentian University. Through these experiences, he gained firsthand insight into the physical and mental demands athletes face when managing injury, recovery, and return to sport. He also experienced the critical role physiotherapists and medical staff play in supporting athletes through these challenges, perspectives that continue to shape his clinical approach today. Anthony has pursued ongoing professional development with a focus on sport and exercise medicine. He has completed AIM Level 1, Introduction to Vestibular Rehabilitation, Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation, and most recently the Sport and Exercise Medicine Field of the Advanced Health Care Practice Program at Western University. This training prepares clinicians to deliver advanced clinical care for sport-related injuries and exercise-based rehabilitation. He is committed to continuing his education, including integrating emerging technology into sport performance and pursuing mentorship opportunities with professional sports teams. Anthony’s treatment approach emphasizes evidence-based care, individualized rehabilitation programs, and helping clients safely return to sport, activity, and everyday movement with confidence. Outside of the clinic, Anthony is always on the move. He enjoys running, basketball, strength training, snowshoeing, and staying active year-round. He values practicing what he preaches and believes movement plays a key role in both physical and mental wellbeing. Anthony looks forward to working with clients of all activity levels to support recovery, performance, and long-term health.
