Courtney LoMonte is aLicensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac) in the state of North Carolina as well as a Shiatsu Massage and Reiki Practitioner. Originally from Raleigh, she received her Masters from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.Before branching out into a private healing arts practice, she worked at a community Acupuncture clinic in Eugene, Oregon and gave close to 4,000 community Acupuncture treatments in 2 years. Since then, she has worked in a variety of private practice settings over the past 8 years giving Acupuncture, Shiatsu & Reiki treatments to ages 12 and up, both in Eugene, Oregon & Carrboro, North Carolina . In addition to these modalities, she is also a practicing herbalist and has studied Western Herbalism in addition to her Chinese Herbal studies at OCOM.Courtney focuses her healing practice on Mental & Emotional balancing while also working on physical pain and other imbalances. She finds the combination of Acupuncture, body work, energy work & plant medicine very calming for the whole spirit, not just the physical body.

Reflexology
Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese bodywork technique that uses gentle finger pressure along the body's meridians to promote balance, relaxation, and overall well-being. Unlike deep tissue massage, Shiatsu uses rhythmic pressure and stretching to help release tension and calm the nervous system. This session includes hand and foot reflexology and may be especially beneficial for stress, fatigue, muscle tension, emotional overwhelm, or those seeking a needle-free alternative to acupuncture.
