Dr. Samantha Welchman earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island with expertise in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. She is Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 certified and dry needling certified, with specialized training in return to sport and running, powerlifting, ACL, and concussion rehab. Samantha enjoys working with active individuals and athletes of all levels, helping them recover and reach their performance goals. Originally from Rhode Island, Samantha was a standout three-sport athlete and was inducted into her high school Hall of Fame for soccer and lacrosse. Now living on the South Shore, she spends her free time playing golf, soccer, skiing, spending time at the beach, and hiking with her dog and boyfriend. Her guilty pleasures include pizza, coffee shops, shopping, home organization, morning workouts and anything to do with puppies. “As a physical therapist, my goal is to help you recover from injuries without making you stop doing the activities you love. I believe in a whole-body and wellness approach to rehabilitation that goes beyond just treating the injury. True recovery involves addressing all aspects of health—nutrition, sleep, recovery, and positive daily habits. Together, we’ll work to manage your pain, improve your performance, and get you back to doing what you enjoy as quickly and effectively as possible.”
