Born and raised in St. John’s, Matt is a physiotherapist with a strong background in sport and performance-based rehabilitation. He completed undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at MUN, followed by MSc Physiotherapy at University College of Dublin, Ireland. With experience competing in both provincial and university-level basketball, Matt brings firsthand understanding of the physical demands of sport, training and recovery. This athletic background informs their clinical approach and connection with active individuals. With 8 years of experience, Matt focuses on active, evidence-based rehabilitation, tailoring treatment to each individual’s goals, sport and lifestyle. His approach emphasizes movement quality, strength and long-term resilience rather than passive care alone. Matt has completed Level 1 and 2 Manual Therapy, McKenzie Method Level 1 and 2 and a specialized Return to Sport course through FC Barcelona, further supporting their expertise in guiding patients safely back to performance.
