As a licensed and board certified Registered Acupuncturist, Maggie is known for her gentle approach, compassionate care, and effective treatment plans. Maggie believes in empowering patients with at-home wellness tips. Maggie specializes in the use of distal techniques and is a Certified Balance Method practitioner. This powerful distal system is able to yield highly effective results for stress and anxiety, circulatory difficulties, GERD, gastrointestinal challenges, inflammation, hot flashes, gynaecological issues, along with chronic body pain and tension. Maggie is trained in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) to treat the body’s craniosacral rhythm to release deep fascial restrictions. This system focuses on gentle palpation techniques, anatomy of the cranium and sacrum, and energetic awareness. Maggie is also a Certified Usui / Holy Fire III Reiki practitioner. From her interest in natural care, Maggie also has extensive training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. Her own journey has also led to advanced fertility & pregnancy care, with a focus on labour preparation for a smooth, happy and healthy delivery. Beyond the treatment room, Maggie is an instructor at VCC and a dedicated mom of two boys and two dogs. She loves the feeling of peace that animals can bring and has volunteered at the Vancouver Cancer Agency for 5 years as a therapy dog team member.
