Joshua received a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Joshua has completed over 1,000 hours of physiotherapy practice during his clinical placements, gaining experience across a wide range of settings, including neurological and brain-related conditions, post-operative hospital care, and sports and work-related injuries in community clinics. Alongside his clinical training, Joshua has developed extensive knowledge of strength training and exercise physiology throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies. Joshua is an active member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and currently practices as a Registered Physiotherapist. Joshua is particularly passionate about advancing his knowledge in the assessment, management, and rehabilitation of concussions and sport-related injuries, and enjoys providing patient- centered care to help individuals achieve their health and recovery goals. Joshua was raised in Brooklin and is grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community and help individuals dealing with new or lingering injuries. In his spare time, Joshua enjoys exploring new places to go hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
During your initial visit, your physiotherapist will go through your health history and evaluate your physical condition. This appointment includes an assessment of your functional abilities including (but not limited to) range of motion, strength, abnormal sensations, and muscle reflex testing.
