Portia graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology, minoring in Dance Studies. She later completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. Prior to returning to Toronto, she gained experience in sports injury management, orthopedics, and Clinical Exercise, including Pilates. Portia completed her clinical Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and incorporates manual therapy, dry needling, acupuncture, and craniosacral therapy in her practice. Additionally, she has on-field experience with the Victorian Amateur Football Association. Portia believes in finding the root cause of conditions and working collaboratively with clients to reach their goals. Her holistic and preventative approach is showcased with a combination of manual therapy, movement retraining, and empowering clients to take control of their health through education.
