Radu is a Registered Physiotherapist who has played competitive tennis and basketball, which as a lifelong athlete has exposed him to the world of injury prevention as a patient, where he initially noticed the benefits of active rehabilitation and physiotherapy from an early age. His passion for health and fitness has led him to complete his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario after receiving a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, Radu was a Teacher’s Assistant for the School of Anatomy lab at Waterloo University where he helped teach anatomy. Radu has experience in a variety of settings and patient demographics, including neurological patients, acute care patients, athletes, and in orthopaedic settings and community care. Radu is a firm believer in empowering patients to restore function and reach their goals through individualized evidence-based treatment approaches, manual therapy, active rehabilitation and education.
This comprehensive first appointment is required for all new physiotherapy patients. It includes a detailed discussion of your medical history, a physical examination, and assessment of movement, strength, and function to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms. The physiotherapist will develop an individualized treatment and management plan, which may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education. Please note: If this is your first visit with the physiotherapist, you must book an Initial Assessment.
