Dr. Genge’s introduction to chiropractic care began in childhood when she was very physically active, playing multiple sports. To perform at her athletic best, chiropractic care was essential. Dr. Genge’s passion for being active and helping others feel better made her decision to become a chiropractor a natural choice. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Continuously learning for the benefit of her patients, Dr. Genge’s has taken various courses, including one on an instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization tool (the Kazemizer Shark^TM IASTM Tool) and additional training in chronic pain management and diagnosis. Dr. Genge is also very passionate about the use of Shockwave in the treatment of plantar fasciitis, calcific tendinopathies, trigger points, etc. She would love to chat with you about what Shockwave is if this is something you are interested in.
