Alexandra is a registered physiotherapist who completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy in Edinburgh, Scotland, and has been practicing in orthopaedic physiotherapy clinics in Ontario since 2017. She specializes in athlete rehabilitation and performance with a special interest in strength athletes and distance runners. She has experience treating a wide variety of injuries and patients of all ages. Her goal is getting her clients back to doing what they love most. Alexandra uses a hands-on, evidence-based approach, with advanced training in manual therapy and dry needling. Her advanced training in running assessments and injury rehabilitation supports both performance optimization and injury prevention. She uses detailed assessments and combines manual therapy, dry needling, sport-specific strength training and rehabilitation to help clients return to training stronger, more resilient, and confident. Alexandra’s care has a foundation of empathy and collaboration, working closely with patients to actively support long-term recovery, performance, and sustainable training. When not in the clinic you can find Alexandra running on the trails, powerlifting or reading and hanging out with her husband and dog. Alexandra is available Mondays-Fridays at the clinic.
For Runners of all types! Book this assessment if you are a runner and have a running related injury. This is a one on one assessment on all things running related. We will assess relevant joints, patterning, strength and muscles involved in running. This assessment also includes a running assessment. We will put together a treatment plan to ensure you reach your running goals. Please bring shorts and your main running shoes.
