Jiayi Wang, CAT(C), BSc. Kinesiology, CSCS(NSCA) Jiayi’s passion for functional training and rehabilitation stems from his lifelong love of sports and fitness. While studying Kinesiology, he discovered Athletic Therapy in his second year and was instantly captivated by the profession’s unique blend of excitement, challenge, and impact. After three years of intensive training at York University, he earned his certification as an Athletic Therapist in 2025. Alongside his Athletic Therapy career, Jiayi has over three years of experience in the fitness industry as a certified strength and conditioning specialist and personal trainer. His strong foundation in exercise-based therapy drives his holistic approach to care—grounded in education, building solid fundamentals, and tailoring each treatment to the individual. After living in Toronto for many years, Jiayi moved to Olds to embrace a slower pace of life and a closer connection to nature. He joined the Collegiate Olds team in August 2025 as an Athletic Therapist.
