Sahar Jaffrani graduated from a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, and received her undergraduate degree from McMaster University in Life Sciences. She has completed her certification in acupuncture from the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program. Sahar continues to pursue post graduate training in the areas of pelvic floor therapy, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, and myofascial techniques. Sahar has had experience with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions of all areas of the body. She also treats individuals with pelvic pain and discomfort, including pre and post partum women and those with bladder concerns. Sahar uses a combine approach of manual therapy, acupuncture, and active focused exercise to achieve optimal function and symptom control, while keeping in mind patient goals and prevention of re-injury. She works to empower patients to be engaged in their own rehab and puts their needs first. Her personal interests include ball hockey, running, and cricket.
