I recently graduated with my BSc in Kinesiology & Health Sciences from York University and am completing my final examination to be a Registered Kinesiologist. My passion lies in helping people improve their health, movement, and overall quality of life. Over the years, teaching swimming to children and adults of all ages has shaped my ability to adapt to different learning styles, communicate effectively, and build trust — skills that have carried over into my work in rehabilitation and wellness. My approach blends science-based rehabilitation with a focus on making movement fun, enjoyable, and sustainable — not just something done out of necessity for rehab or exercise requirements. I believe in a balanced view of health, where strength, endurance, and therapeutic movement are complemented by stillness and mindfulness practices like meditation. This perspective allows me to support individuals in feeling better, returning to the activities they love, and thriving in their daily lives. I’m excited to bring my skills, energy, and commitment to patient care to the Acorn Family Health and Wellness Team, while continuing to learn and grow in ways that enhance the support I can offer.
